The video that was posted on Healthy Living’s website cantlosediet.com was taken directly from NutriMost‘s website, with all references to NutriMost taken out of the video. The video posted by Healthy Living even kept in testimonials from customers who had success with the NutriMost system as well as Dr. Ray Wisniewski who founded NutriMost. The video stayed up on the Healthy Living website until a cease-and-desist letter demanded that it was removed last September. The website now has a shortened version of the same video.

NutriMost Opens Lawsuit Against Healthy Living for Pirated Videos

NutriMost, a company that offers a nutrition program to help people lose weight, has filed a lawsuit against Healthy Living, a rival who allegedly stole NutriMost’s promotional videos and marketing materials to put on their own Web site.

Healthy Living changed the name of NutriMost’s diet to “Can’t Lose Diet” but kept the same testimonials from NutriMost customers and Dr. Ray Wisniewki, the Pennsylvania chiropractor that pioneered the program. Healthy Living did take the video down after receiving a cease-and-desist letter but only after first putting up a shortened version of the video.

Though the video is no longer on Health Living’s site, NutriMost filed the suit to obtain a court order banning the company from posting the video again and is asking for $300,000 in damages for the loss of “goodwill and reputation” the company experienced as a result of the pirated materials.

The NutriMost program centers around NRF technology, which is short for NutriMost Resonate Frequency. The weight loss regimen allows customers to lose 20 to 40 pounds in 40 days without exercise, pre-packaged meals, medication, or surgery.
