Divinity: Original Sin 2 is Coming to Consoles

Tons of games are set to come out as we get further into 2018, and now another game has announced it is coming out ahead of the Fall season. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 in August of 2018. The console release is the result of a deal between the developers, Larian Studios, and Bandai Mamco, who are set to publish the title for consoles.

The Divinity games are top down RPGs that have an incredibly devoted cult following. The Original Sins sub-series is a prequel to original Divinity games, all created by Larian Studios. The game is about incredibly powerful orcs invading Rivellon. The heroes of the game are the last chance of humanity against the destruction of all civilization.

The game is already available on PC. An updated interface has been created especially for the console version. The console version of the game will also feature all of the multiplayer modes featured in the original PC version. Console players will also be delighted to learn that an original split screen mode will be a feature included in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One versions.

More information about the console version will be released as August draws closer.

As previously mentioned, 2018 is set to be a big year for gaming. On June 30th, PS4 owners will return to the role of Kratos, the god of war. This time in God of War, Kratos is in a nordic region, this time as a mentor to a young warrior.

Spider-Man is also coming in 2018 to the PS4. Super-hero games often do not get AAA releases, but Spider-Man changes that. The developers of Spider-Man are masters at what they do. Insomniac Games have previously worked on games such as Ratchet & Clank and Spyro the Dragon.

As if 2018 couldn’t get any better for PS4 users, The Last of Us 2 is also on the way.

Xbox One users shouldn’t have too much to worry about either. The long awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming out later this year for both consoles. Xbox One gamers also have Crackdown 3 to look forward to towards the end of the year.

Divinity is wise to release in August instead of waiting til the holiday season when so many games are set to be released.
