Margaret ‘Maggie’ Gill is an astounding business lady with adept knowledge and experience as a leader in various companies. She is the current chief executive officer and the president of Memorial Health. Her education has played a major role in the leader she is in today. She acquired her bachelors in English language and literature from Florida State University, master’s in business administration from Saint Leo University and proceeded to complete a course in strategic thinking and management from Wharton School.
Maggie started working at Memorial Health in 2004 as the vice president of finance for the Memorial University Medical Centre. Through her diligence and commitment to the company, she was made the chief operating officer and in 2011, named the CEO. She is in charge of all the senior employees at Memorial Health and MUMC. She is also responsible for all the operations taking place and also to lead the company into strategic ventures and partnerships.
Maggie has exceptional leadership skills and experiences and skills that have come quite in hand when steering the company into strategic ventures. Recently, Maggie led her company into negotiations with the Novant Health, an organization that shares Memorial Health’s visions and foresight. Maggie strongly affirms the public that they are working out things with the leaders at Novant Health to form a partnership that will not only benefit their patients but also create employment for the residents of Georgia.
Maggie’s work and leadership skills have been commended and rewarded by the Georgia Medical Society. Memorial Health won six categories in the 16th Annual Health Care Heroes Awards. The company was rewarded for their creativity, community outreach and their passion to provide education to the society regarding medical issues. Maggie is a strong believer in team work and congratulates his staff in working passionately towards changing lives in the community.
